Reforming the Judiciary in the United States
The composition of the federal judiciary itself is heavily conditioned by what is taking place in the executive and legislative branches. And if you've got a strong, disciplined political party with an agenda that wants to impose, they can easily pack the courts as well. The current structure of the supreme court, i think, lends itself to exasperating polarization rather than finishing it. We talked about a number of reforms that are certainly under debate in the united states.
