What Is a Plenary?
In the UK, it's generally a lesson that starts with some sort of starter activity. The plenary and there could be two or three of them during the lesson is the bit we supposedly check the learning of the lesson. In many cases, it might be a past question, a discussion or whatever, just to make sure that the students have actually learned. Ollie: You need to know what your plenary is going to be before you do anything else. And so that's why I'd like to talk about plenaries before anything else.
