Is St. Joseph the Shadow of the Father?
Joseph is the shadow of the eternal father because he was chosen by God the father to show his son in his human nature what it's like to have an earthly father. And then they shared the father's name is Jacob and then the dreams. Dream God revealing himself through dreams is present through scripture, but Joseph, Old Testament Joseph, this was very present.
