Are the Distasteful Consequences of a Big Am Me Law?
As a lawyer, I instinctively recoil when someone tries to argue for the application of a legal principle that if applied consistently would lead to results that feel very distasteful. That's something that doesn't feel like courts would be comfortable with. In making a legal argument, construct it in a way that puts up parameters that prevent distasteful outcomes from naturally occurring.
