Purgatory Is a Transient State Not a Permanent State

Purgatory is meant to be a time of preparation for the fullness of love that heaven is so why not if nearing the end of your life you can apologize and as long as you do so sincerely find your way at least to purgatory. Why not console yourself or consign yourself to a life of head and ism and base pleasure and just wait until deathbed to really contemplate these ideas wouldn't it be rational for a person to put that off for as long as they can no there's childish because in fact the life you're describing is a terrible life  and leaves you both physically emotionally and spiritually in a destitute condition.
