The Speed of Light Is a Constant
The speed of light is a constant, and you can't make something that goes faster than the speed of light. What's happening is that things like photons are just particular kinds of structures that exist in all these connections that make up space. If those connections are just in their ordinary form, then they just make space. But if they have a special structure, let's say they were sort of all tangled up in a knot, then that kind of knotted structure is sort of a persistent kind of structure. And the progress of time is that progressive sort of re rearrangement of the connections in the structure of space.
