i actually played jesus in eighth grade. And went through the whole thing with getting whipped and getting nailed to the cross. He was doing this to a show that service is of service no matter what. No matter how hard core the whipping and lashing you're getting, you're not doing it because it feels good. You're doing it because It's just the pure service of christ's consciousness. That's why i try to serve as a fire in the fire department, even though sometimes i hate going on calls. But it does also feel good. I tell myself, e, i got to go do some good right now. Ye, it's tough, yes.
