Would You Consider a Haploidentical Transplant?
In a 64 year old, if in your work up and on the patient has severe a plastic anemia and has a donor, would you take them to transplant? If they do not have any comorbidities or do you try the immunosuppressive therapy. But you would try that first or would you? I would be comfortable. They would need to really understand what that meant because some, you know, certainly in a 25 year old, they bounce back a little quicker than a nearly 65 year old.
