Ezekiel and the Vision of National Resurrection
Ezekiel, chapter 37 is one of the most memorable and powerful chapters in the entire book. It describes the vision of national resurrection through the prophetic word and spirit of god. The valley is littered with dry and whitened bones, presumably as the site of a great slaughter. As the burial of corpses was a matter of great concern, this mass of bones suggests the occurrence of some awful calamity some time past.
