The holy grail of easy self-custodial mobile Bitcoin plus lightning UX, which is that moon solved for in a low fee environment. The key difference is because of splicing, all moon was on chain at rest. So when you're while it was just sitting there and you weren't receiving or spending, all your funds were kept on chain. If you received on lightning, it was a swap directly off chain. And vice versa, if you wanted to pay a lightning invoice with Phoenix, all funds at rest are in a lightning channel. It's going to be a massive unlock and make the lightning network significantly more efficient if it gets adopted in mass.
