The Case Study of AI Driven Autonomous Vehicles
We've perpetually been at least for the last decade, one year away from fully autonomous vehicles driving up and down 101. By any measure, every company that has tried to achieve that has either died trying or is in the process of dying trying. Tesla is notorious for having delayed or ratcheted back expectations for what it's fully self driving autonomous driving mode can achieve. We've seen reports of nearly 400 crashes in the last 11 months alone of self driving vehicles from a variety of companies.
