Are We Going to Have a Discussion About Price Controls?
Inflation is coming from a fundamental instability, you're going to have to control and manage the price rises in essentials. There isn't some mechanism by which you're just going to get more money in a situation like this. It has to be a demand and you have to be organised to make that happen. People who run small businesses are not necessarily aligned with what you might think of as the left. So if we're thinking about what the agency is to change this, we need to also think how to reach all those people beyond the ranks of the organised working class.
