The Effect of the Gatekeeper on the Opportunity Curve

There's ten thousand web comics out there and maybe two hundred of them that are really worth reading. Maybe another 50 or 60 of them actually supporting their creators in a in a full-time career. The numbers as to who has the money haven't changed all that much it's just the opportunity curve has shifted a little.
