How to Quantify Privilege in a Person's Life
When i went to an elite university, i met some well to do white people that were different tham the ethnic white people. And i ended up feeling quite privileged in relation to them because we didn't have much money growing up. I don't know how to quantify that in relation to somebody whose parents were both distracted lawyers and raised by nannies. So it's just very difficult for me to think that i can approach a question of privilege without sometimes feeling upset when a ebe mexicand or robin d angelo puts me in the box of of latwhen i feel very proud about what my family and i have been able to accomplish.
