Do I Need a Polyamary Friendly Therapis?

I have no intentions of having emotions involved, to fill any sort of roll that is currently filled by my boy frind with any one else. My question is, does this mean we should close our relationship and move on? I'm not against that, but i would be a little disappointed, as this has been the basis of my fantasies for years.
