The Spartans and Agassius

The trial of Deksippus and Agassius is supposed to have taken place in Athens. But the generals decided not to put them on trial because they didn't think it would be fair. They instead asked for mercy from Cleander, a Greek general who was now in power. The Spartans agreed but then walked away so he could do what he wanted with both men.
