The Disadvantages of Being a Dick
I'm very leery in general of anyone who is pro civility out of context, because I've encountered that everywhere as a way of trying to control and police conversations. And it's very difficult to be reform minded when you are not allowed to occasionally lose your damn mind. You know, there's been, there'sbeen pretty nasty stuff printed in peer review. But then the traditional nastiness was always very formalized and always invariably resulted in someone like getting seriously knobbled by something.
