Mental image is a bit like real perception. If I can picture a tiger, if I've got that mental image of stripes walking past a tree, then that's again, that's sort of a negative thing to avoid. So it might be a way of helping you avoid danger, but also still red alert for things that match your image or inner image. And of course, tigers gives you this as a nice visual metaphor, but it might be very ordinary things in everyday life that might want to navigate or avoid.
