How Do You Think Critically About These Subjects?

The most important skill that anyone in the military could have is to not accept things that you're told or that you see at face value, but instead dig a little deeper and get to the real truth. I was just having a conversation with my son this morning on a run and he was asking me, why is everything so extreme and left and right? And we started talking about just that and like, well, let me give you some advice. Anytime you want to form an opinion or a strong opinion on something, look at both sides of it. When you get new information, you should reevaluate your opinion. So I completely agree with what you just said about critical thinking.
