Top Gun

Top gun came out in an era when, like, christian religious stuff was like, o youd better not offend us. And the people who made top gun were tiptoeing around the religious right when they made that movie in the 19 eighties. That controlling interest in thought and appropriate words has flipped to something that leans more progressive. So it is so interesting to me that they made two movies into completely different eras about the same subject,. with the same actors having to accommodate very different sets of deeply held sensibilities.
