Is There a Company Equity Event in the Next Year?

My wife and i are 62, hoping an retirig 65. We have approximately two million dollars in a variety of four one k brokerage accounts and old sapiras. My question is this, it is likely there will be a company equity event in the next year. It will probably net me around one point five million dollars or more. Ogets will likely be paid out in increments annually over 36 months. This will likely push me into the highest tax bracket over the three years in which my income will look particularly high. Are there any mitigation strategies i can consider to lower my tax burning over those three years?
