The Importance of Sharing Your Story in Politics
Maury Manne gave one of the most authentic, vulnerable speeches that I've seen a politician or anyone for that matter give. He didn't want to hide any part of himself in order to get here. "I had a story to tell" and he knew it was probably inevitable someone else would use it against him if he didn't reveal it. Maury said his whole world stopped on the day my phone pinged with a notification that I'd been tagged on Facebook.
