The Importance of Dread in Horror
Sometimes the audience is ahead of the character and writing that dread. Sometimes the characters miss the red flags, but we see them. There's a whole flavor of horror, the sprinkled back in there that you could do. And last but not least is the gross outs and I think we know what they are. They can happen at the same time. It's like a one two punch. Like to me, a gross out can be a scare. Because your head could just explode. You know, and it could be like, that's gross out.
