House suspects a degenerative disease. Tests show no evidence of an infection but House comments that false negatives for neurosyphilis occur about 30% of the time. The boy's biological mother was not vaccinated for measles and he contracted measles sometime before the age of six months. Although the boy recovered, the virus mutated, traveled to the brain and went dormant for 16 years. Final diagnosis: subacute, sclerosis, and pan and kephylitis.
