As a teacher, how do you encourage your students to discover their own wisdom? I think so much emphasis is on supporting people and doing the practice. It's not just an academic classroom, for example, or reading a text. It's pupil's lived experience. That's the point. We really look at the buddha to see ourselves. And that's the larger context in which we practise the word 'spiritual friend'
