Sasha Gallic Is a Writer

Sasha Gallic is the first real voice of dissent that we hear in the book right and he as a writer he has enjoyed the freeing up of discourse that accompanied the rise of Khrushchev but he also has begun to feel the limits of it. He doesn't seem to even at this kind of early stagedoesn't seem to believe um in the in the vision you know he's like someone who you might see uh working on doing the latest marvel movie these days. I went to this place where the writers would get together and meet during the communist era and it was literally an old palace that was repurposed for the writers.
