The Effects of Nasal Assimilation on Speech
When we say sounds together, they're not those individual sounds perfectly articulated. They take on characteristics of the sounds that come before or after them. So again, you see this process where we delete consonants to get back to that more natural syllable. Other things have to do with the way that sounds are articulated in fast speech.
