The Emotional Response by the People Is Way Ahead of the Politicians, Right?
I actually think that the people, the emotional response by the people is way ahead of the politicians in terms of what they would be prepared to put up with. I do see people using Ukraine as an excuse to promote their favored solutions. We will not successfully and in a just way pursue this transition just by increasing the cost of bad stuff. If we just block pipelines, if we just make it impossible to invest in fossil, then we are inflationarily driving up the cost of energy. It'll be the poor and the vulnerable and the developing world that suffers.
