The Limitations of the Imagineers
I don't want to undercut or undervalue the work, the time, the craftsmanship. I think it's similar to these Imagineers in Galaxy's Edge. There were mandates that were put on them by George Lucas and others. The commitment to the sequel trilogy era obviously fueled by the top box office performance of The Force Awakens. And some of the luster then diminished over the course of the sequel trilogy.
