The Human Soul Is a Material Perishable Form

Several philosophers thought that a philosophical reasoning in the absence of revelation would lead one simply to conclude that the human soul was, in fact, a material perishable form. William of accam thought this, but he was a bit coy about it. And somebody like jean burden, who actually identifies six or seven characteristics and says a either they all go together and you get a separated, immaterial, non personal soul. Those are the only things philosophy could accept. You either get the whole set, or it's a negation, because it all comes together, right? Then what revelation does is tell us that,  what is logically a impossible mixture of these theses holds.
