When you add a new system, it's integrated with all those other systems. Every time you do that, you're ending up with this massive complex system of inner working, interlocking pieces. And it becomes very, very difficult to test. So the only option is to start ignoring and assume the old legacy stuff works. We don't know how they work anymore.
