I bring up their writings and then put them in the in within the context of what's happening and then try to make meaning out of it. We do not if you do not know the history good bad and ugly. It's very hard to move on and relate to the rest of the region. Once that the people of the region are disconnected from the experience of the fracture of the region, you have disconnected them from the what binds them together which is a common shared history.
