I think what we're seeing there is the decline of religious observance, but not necessarily the decline of faith, which often is still there. King Charles happens to be a Christian. There have been others in the past in monarchs who didn't happen, had a particularly strong Christian faith. But the calling to rule is still the same. And so that's why I think this sort of structure as a coherent understanding of rule and authority applies whether or not you're a person of faith or not.
