The Rise and Fall of the Sports Business
There have been sort of startup leagues that have grown in the past, whether it was the old AFL or the competing NBA, WHA, and hockey. I'm not surprised that followed that path, maybe a little quicker than people might have expected. Sports business has gotten so much bigger teams, so much more valuable. That opening up new pools of capital is just going to be critical to grow the game.
