The Dissociative Epidemic of Trauma

Dissociation is most common for people who have experienced childhood trauma. It can vary in severity from a severe disorder to simple distraction. In the DSM, there are three dissociative disorders: Dissociative amnesia, dissociative identity disorder and depersonalization. And then by itself, dissociation can just on its own be a symptom of PTSD.
