What Is Prompt Engineering?

The art of prompt engineering is the art of then looking how the outcome changes as a function of your input. It seems to be something that is very much dependent on the model, but also the domain in which you test it. Because we don't have access to GPT-3's model architecture, we can't really know how to do prompt engineering and what it does in different contexts. Something that works for job ads might not work for essay grading or other domains.
