Are Our Brains Ill-Equipped to Make These Kind of Decisions?
Our brains are still the brains of a human who lived in a savannah with about 200 people around him over here and with very few options that impact their lives. In the last hundred thousand years we developed some capabilities that allow us to do better but the world is advancing much faster than a hundred thousand years. We have way too many options, we have too many diables and our brains are incapable of really taking all of those into account. You most likely are going to choose in a restaurant, something that's not good for you health wise even though you were the person who said just an hour before today I'm going to eat healthy.
