How to Value a Company in the Internet Bubble

All rules of investing and valuing a company were just thrown out the window. Some companies that fell for this approach are the ones that we joke about now. Pets dotcom is a perfect example. They didn't want to make money, even though they were losing money on every bag of dog food they sold and shipped. Just getting big is not a strategy for profit.
