i think that if you can kind of have two brains, one where you have that immediate low standard, just trying to make something. And then in the back of your brain you have the bigger goal. I love this advice because every time i watch a movie or i read a book, i'm always just overwhelmed by how much work went into it. So giving up on trying to write a big bassellar really freed me up to just be a little bit more playful,. andthen just try to see if i could write something that was kind of mat - which is another way of saying aiming at ma.
