Cannibal Apocalypse

There are certain standards within a given film culture. Thereare certain expectations about the music and what you can do with music. The moods evoked by certain genres or sounds of music are not universal. They can be highly culturally contingent. For some reason, to the italians, it makes sense for the funk music to kick in while somebody's creeping up with a knife. But to american audiences, that sounds funny. And perhaps for russian audiences, or at least for the film makers involved here, an accordion is the appropriate instrument to play when frodo is stabbed by a ring wraith.
