The semiconductor industry has more recognition than ever due to global events such as the chip shortage. University of Strathclyde is taking part in an event to encourage girls into electronics set up by the UK Electronic Skills Foundation. Attracting women into engineering and electronics is a problem that all parts of the world are dealing with. In 2022 only 20 to 25% of women are in the semiconductor workforce.
