The Party Is Ungodly

I was not taught about the god who commanded and ordained the party. I was told, stay away from the party. Those are dangerous. Don't go to those people, drink there. It's really bad. But this is a god in leviticus, it says, you will celebrate, or i will destroy you. Because if you don't, you'll lose the plot of the story. And i think maybe we might have lost the plot ofthe story in our own narrative. We read this more like all this is so barbaric and sick,. Like god's putting a price tag on like people. They were considered something totally separate and different in in the ancient world.
