The Importance of Rule of Law in Growth
In some places, rule of law is overrated. China has had an incredible growth record. They have a system of corruption. I wouldn't call it efficient. But you basically get bribes by getting things built. And they've done well enough with that. In the long run, it's super dangerous. The stateism is already coming back to haunt them.
