Heparin and Hypotension

Heparin has vasodilatory properties and hypotension is a known potential side effect. It makes sense if heparin is sort of an angiotensin receptor blocker or inhibitor that it could potentially cause vasodilation and hypotension when given in high doses. And there was one more equally, perhaps even more for me surprising effect of heparin that I really doubt most people realize is going on when they prescribe heparin for a patient.
