Is the Car in Paradime Really a New Idea?

There is actually a tension between the need to take our best explanations seriously and the need to not take them too seriously so that we can generate new ideas. There's, there are certain things that absolutely do follow from our best physical theories that we have right now. And i think that also should make us take the idea that maybe what we're calling novelty, the emergence, is actually novelty, and not just something that's just on.
