The Disconnect Between Acute and Longitudinal Research

Mentor fatigue can decrease squat rep performance by two reps over three sets. Does that sacrifice hypertrophy over the long-term? It's a big leap to say, you know, one or two fewer reps in the short term,. then means you have one or two less reps in every single session. If you did this for train two or three times a week for eight weeks, it would mean less hypertrophy than if we didn't use mental fatigue at all.
