Building Relationships With Writers on Your Show

It's silly that you have to warn people about that but there are sure runners won't assign scripts until they're broken because they've had writers check out in past rooms. It is challenging right now for the shows that are still on zoom, or that are running hybrids because you don't get that 10 minutes in the morning to stop by someone's office and chat. That's why you need that network of writers that you have built community with. And things are mostly okay but sometimes kind of not great if you don't have someone in the room that you trust.
