How to Learn Collocations

A big mistake that people make, this is a bonus one, and this is something I've spoken about before on the podcast, not learning collocations. A collocation is like a set phrase in a language, and it kind of we use it, but we don't really know why. If you translate it into your language, it probably won't make sense. It won't have the same meaning. The best way to learn these kind of things is Lots of reading, lots of listening, whatever you like TV series movies and pay really close attention to the phrases they're using.
