The Mystery of Hysterical Strength
The Roman Rite of Exorcism lists displays of power which are beyond the subject's age and natural condition as one of the main signs of possession. Within the Catholic framework, a little girl sending a full grown adult through the air across the room and knocking a six foot tall man to the ground certainly points to demonic activity. There is little scientific evidence for hysterical strength, but enough incidents have been reported that it probably can happen. And in Lena's case, like all of them, we must weigh the evidence in totality.
