Maternal Systemic Disease

A lot more women are presenting for pregnancy with a lot more comorbidities as of late especially in the United States so I think having a systemic way to evaluate them is a good practice. In this session we're gonna focus on three areas of systemic disease including autoimmune disorders some endocrine disorders and heart disease which again can be its own dissertation but we'll try to stay focused on common things we might see sounds good. So maybe if we just let's start with lupus yes a star of lupus  it has antibodies against a nuclear cytoplasmic and cell membranes it is more common in women of childbearing ageso we will see some patients with this disease
